Governor Elections for 2021
As you know, in line with national guidance and like many other Trusts, we postponed our elections to the Council of Governors this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We are intending to run our governor elections as normal in 2021 and are inviting members to express an interest at this stage so that we can gauge interest levels nice and early.
As a Trust we are well aware that many of you will be wondering when things will get “back to normal” – particularly if you or a loved one are waiting for an outpatient appointment or a date for surgery. Please be assured that colleagues at CHFT, like at every other Trust, are working extremely hard to get things back on track.
Governors in lockdown
We asked two of our governors how lockdown has been for them. Here's what Sally Robertshaw (left in the photo), staff governor for the Allied Healthcare Professionals/Healthcare Scientists and Christine Mills, publicly elected governor for Huddersfield Central told us: It’s been a rollercoaster 2020 for everyone.
