Colleagues have been sending in shout outs to acknowledge what our amazing teams have been doing in the fight against the virus...
Laura Retnam, a staff nurse on the Acute Floor at CRH says: "I just wanted to do a quick shout out to ACP Stacey Jo for creating this positivity wall for the staff on the Acute Floor at CRH! It is great." (see pic)
From Assistant Director of HR, Charlotte North: "I wanted to shout out to the Flexible Workforce Department who are in and working using social distancing to ensure that staffing levels are maintained at a safe level across the Trust during this time. I would like to personally thank them as they have cancelled their annual leave, study leave and worked extra shifts to cover the department."
Ward Manager Linda Denham got in touch: "Can I ask for a special shout to ward 8B who, en masse, are going to the isolation ward. We had our training which was intense but I know my team will be amazing. Our catch phrase is "We've got this!" I would also like to thank the nurse educators, Heather Moffatt and Nicola from the 5s who put together the training and made a lot of frightened nurses feel better. Like everyone else we have children and vulnerable adults in our lives, but together we will beat this."
Senior Clinical Educator Vicki Power sent a shout out to her team of fab fit testers (these are the colleagues who are working hard to ensure that personal protective equipment fits properly): "I am immensely proud of all the team and how they have pulled together over the past couple of weeks. They have really stepped up by FIT testing, preparing short notice training events to upskill/refresh staff, supported each other and generally doing whatever it takes prior to moving into critical care, ED and remote working. I just want to say a BIG thank you to all of them and our line manager Michelle Bamforth for being such a fab team!"
A big shout out to ALL our fantastic colleagues at CHFT doing an amazing job in these difficult circumstances.
And a final shout out to some of our colleagues' children who have been sending us photos of themselves holding fantastic signs that they've made (see pic below).
