A hat-trick for CHFT at the Nursing Times Awards

We're thrilled to have been nominated in three categories at this year's Nursing Times Awards. The nominations are for Clinical Research Nursing, Emergency and Critical care and Children’s Service Change.

The awards – now in their 30th year – will be held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London on October 14th.

Our Deputy Director of Nursing, Lindsay Rudge, said: “This year, of all years, to have three of our nursing teams in these finals is simply tremendous and it shows the talent and dedication of CHFT nurses in all areas. This recognition is just fabulous and so well-deserved coming right now and, of course, it's amazing for the patients they care for.”

Nursing Times editor, Steve Ford, said: "The challenge of tackling Covid-19, coming as it has during the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife, has showcased the great work and innovation of nurses in every setting across the UK. The Nursing Times Awards provides us with a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the profession’s exceptional achievements in a very difficult year, and I look forward to announcing the winners."

Good luck to all our nominees!
