Ex-England cricketer Graeme Swan and his Strictly professional partner Oti Mabuse joined in the CHFT twittersphere. We had posted some of the action from our own dance-offs on our @CHFTNHS twitter account and tagged them in. And the celebrity duo replied in praise of our dancers and promoting the healthy aspects of dancing.
Going the extra mile and beyond...how Riley met Jess Glynne
Our staff are renowned for going the extra mile for our patients and the team on the Children's Ward have excelled for Riley Merrill. Little Riley is a regular CRH attendee for a skin condition and Lola Duncan and the team have gone out of their way to make things special for him.
Reconfiguration: finance approved and next steps
In December 2018 the Department of Health gave its approval for £198m of funding in support of proposals to reconfigure the healthcare services we provide in our hospitals and in community.

Hey Jude...Meet the Governor and find out how you could get involved in 2019
Jude Goddard became a CHFT governor for the Calder and Ryburn Valleys constituency following our elections last summer. Jude is one of 16 public governors who make up our Council of Governors (CoG) together with staff and stakeholder governors.

Top rating for endoscopy teams
Our endoscopy teams have been celebrating after receiving one of the most gushing verdicts on the care they provide ... ever. An inspector said what he had seen at our endoscopy service at both sites was amongst the best he had ever witnessed in the NHS.

And finally......Hallelujah for the NHS's 70th birthday.
CHFT enjoyed a huge celebration on July 5 2018 - the day of the NHS's 70th birthday - thanks to us having some of the best choirs in the country on our doorstep. At the time of our last edition we were very much looking forward to the Big Day and it certainly lived up to expectations.
